Day 2 was much less eventful. The blondies came up for another visit and once again, couldn't get enough. Jett and I got better acquainted, he's such a good baby and so squishy! I was able to inspect every inch of him and rather enjoy his pinchy thighs, fuzzy shoulders, and his pterodactyl cry. I decided he looks like Tatum but sneezes like Tucker, 2 sneezes in a row and never any less. He moans like Tucker did when he sleeps and drools like his Dad.
He appreciates being bundled but prefers his arms left out. Even if you forget and wrap him with his arms in they always find a way to come out. His lips are smoochable and his head deliciously soft. He's mine and I'm smitten.
We got to come home on Wednesday, January 5th, a freezing cold morning. It was also Jersey's 2nd angel anniversary. How ironic he should come home this very day. Not coincidence. It was the best thing I could think of to do on this day, perhaps Jersey Girl had a hand in this. I felt like a new parent trying to dress him feeling like I'd break him.
The rest of the day we couldn't get enough of him. Tatum immediately held him when she got home from school. Sadly for her it was the last time for 4 days she'd be able to. She went from beauty queen to...
a very sick girl. She ran a fever, had body aches, and even hallucinated at night. She wasn't allowed to come near me or Jett and was so jealous to watch Tucker hold and smooch Jett. Poor girl, I really felt bad for her!
The boys each got their turns with the boy.
He got a new outfit and we thought he looked quite funny, cozy but funny.
