The Rain Dance Recital

Tatum had her very first dance recital. The title of her dance was The Rain Dance and it was this cute song about splashing in the rain. Here she is before her big performance excited and ready to put on a show. Love the boots!

Tuck is her biggest fan, they're waiting together before the big show.

Still waiting for the show to start!

Tater's very special friends who refused to miss her big night! We LOVE Sonia, Sadie, and Macie!

Here she is, splish splashing!

She got 3 roses from Tucker, 3 from Grandma, and 4 beautiful pink flowers from Sadie and Macie.

Tatum is so lucky to have two amazing women who love her dearly. They ALWAYS support her and love to spend time with her, of course they wouldn't miss her recital!
I asked Tatum if she felt like queen up there on stage and she said, "NO, I felt like a shining star!". She's SO cute!

After her performance we headed to Neilsen's to celebrate.

Tuck and Gramps hangin out. Tucker begged long enough for Grandpa to buy him a huge gum ball which he quickly stuffed in his cheek.

Tater's flowers she so lovingly took care of.

Well that is just darn cute! I have been waiting and waiting for you to post about her recital! I am so sad that I missed it (although it's probably good since I heard it was rather crowded). How are you my friend? Too bad life gets busy. You guys look like you're doing really good though. We need to hang out or at least chat again sometime. I miss you and our Thursday hang!

How cute it that? I love her little outfit. What a fun bunch of flowers she got after it was over.
PS I want to hear how your cruise was. I heard life got CRAZY after that. I hope everything has settled down now.

I cannot wait to put Tabitha in dance. It's funny because I don't really care what the boys choose to do for fun, but I have all these ideas in my head about what Tabs will do.

Tatum is adorable as always. I love the raincoat.
Tucker looks just like his Grandpa.

I want boots like those! She is way too cute for her own good! Thanks again for doing the towels last night and for forewarning me about the needle. I broke one on the first stitch :)

I love her cute raincoat. Makes me want to purchase one. Maybe it'll rain again to justify my purchase??:)
I bet your loving having your doll (I love when you call Tatum that)doing cute dance shows now! Ours is this weekend...and I hope we survive. I could NOT be a stage mom...I get to impatient! Jake is dreading it, but I do love watching all the cute dances. Especially the little ones.

Need Food Storage?

Hey all whom I love and not the random weirdo's out there ;)

DeWy's cousin Karli is hosting a workshop on getting prepared! And since I couldn't stand to see anyone around me starve in a time of emergency, I highly recommend going!

Here are her details about the event...
To help me and others learn all about preparedness I’m hosting a FOOD STORAGE/EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS WORKSHOP right here in Mesa! It will be on Saturday June 14 from 9 am–Noon at my house.
The first hour will be packed with presentations and information – after that it’s come and go and we’ll try to answer all your questions! There will be a presentation at 9:15 on canning everything from meats to cake (you will be AMAZED at what you can can!!!). Following that there will be someone to speak about SHELF STABLE milk, butter, and whipping cream… as well as SOLAR OVENS, wheat grinders (manual and electric), stackable water buckets, and MUCH, MUCH MORE! She’s got an amazing story to share!
To top it all off we’re going to have a distributor from Mountain House (freeze dried food that is “to die for” good and all you do is add water – that I can do!)… AND she’s going to let us all order at her distributor prices! Can you believe it? If you can’t make it and still want to order at these low prices… let me know and we can place it for you EVEN if you live out of state!!! You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to learn and prepare! I’m so excited I can hardly wait! I’M TRYING TO GET AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE AT ONE SPOT. TELL YOUR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS, and RELATIVES TOO - THEY'LL WANT TO LEARN.
Please forward this on to anyone you think might be interested and I hope to see you there!!!(IF YOU CANT MAKE IT BUT WOULD STILL LIKE INFO OR TO ORDER OR IF YOU DONT KNOW MY ADDRESS, POST A COMMENT AND I'LL GET AHOLD OF YOU)
What: Emergency Preparedness / Food Storage Workshop
When: Saturday June 14th
Time: 9am - Noon (Presentations 9:15 - 10:15 and come and go/stay after that)
Where: Tawni DeWitt's (leave a comment and contact for directions)

Racheal Q and I will be attending, so if you would like to come with us let me know!

ALSO...
Grains Plus is doing a June order. She has great things like beans, grains, fabulous morning moo milk, baking supplies, mixes and more! Go to www.grainsplus.com to find the June order form. Just a hint... she is a great place to get the powdered moo milk from, but I have seen cheaper wheat even with the rising prices.

Now to motivate you a little bit go and read some council. The June first presidency message is wonderful. President Henry B. Eyring speaks on Safety in Council.

Very cute!! You are lucky she loves to perform. I just watched my friends video of her little girl's recital and she laid on the floor balling the whole time! It was pretty awesome :)

ps. i looked online for patterns for that dress you wanted to make. I have not really found anything yet except one "home made" pattern that was not the best. I have not yet been down to the store yet that sells them to see what their return policy is.

So cute. I love the boots. It's time for an update! I miss reading your posts! I wish I could have come to your towel class, too, but alas, it was not meant to be...

Sooooo dang cute! Oh I wish I had a little girl to put in dance classes...exept she might inherit my non-dancing abilities and might have to take up Karate instead. So I just try to stay content by watching "So you think you can dance?" and live vicariously through those amazing kids on the show. I'm glad you are feeling up to par now and congrats on the good news. Where are you at LA Fitness...I never see you there anymore? Please tell me you are still a member? Try some classes with me! Trent told me about your bbq, sorry, I was with my sister over in Mesa at my mom's place...swimmin. I'll take a raincheck though, please! And I might need another set of hooded towels for my sisters twinners- one girl and one boy...do you have any left for me to choose from? Any matching sets? Call me...

Nichols Family said...

ps...If not, just like I don't have a dancing bone in my body, I don't have any sewing maching skills or pretty ribbon, or even crafty style that would contribute to the coveted Heidi towel. So please, will you help me? I have till October so don't feel pressures! And your hair looks dazzling you hot pregrant mama!

Nichols Family said...

pps. I mean PREGNANT mama! Sorry, can't spell this late at night. Ok, going to bed now.
