#3 Due to Arrive

So it's been official for quite some time and definitely no secret that baby #3 is on it's way! We are SO excited! Scheduled due date: December 24 2008. That's right, Christmas Eve. We like to call that poor planning; regardless, we can't wait! This pregnancy has been completely different than the last two. For one thing I've not been sick which is amazing and all new for me. I had one sick day and the rest, other than being exhausted, have been great. I'll take tired any day over nauseous! Secondly, and this may sound really ugly, I've never been excited to be expecting. With Tatum she was a complete surprise and it took me quite a while to even be okay with the idea. With Tucker I had just been pregnant 6 moths before. But with this baby I've wanted it for so long and it's been so long I'm thrilled. Third, it has been so fun to watch Tatum and Tucker be so excited at the thought of a new baby. Tatum tells me just about every day, "Mom, I already love our new baby!" She's already committed to helping with diaper changes and feedings! And then there's Tucker, when asked if he's going to kiss our new baby he says, "No, I want to punch it in the face." Nice. He does have his sweet moments when he won't go to bed without kissing the baby (my stomach) and giving the baby loves (rubbing my stomach). We can't wait!

About the unacceptable due date. I couldn't possibly let my sweet baby's birthday be overlooked every year because of Christmas, anything after the 12th simply won't due. The closer to Christmas the less of a birthday. So, I expressed my great concern to my Dr. and he, thankfully, is willing in induce me. It also helps that Tucker was a tank so it gives me just another reason to be induced. Dr. Huish thought the 10th sounded like a good date, of course the baby has to be healthy and ready, which works for me. I know this will sound pathetic but this date gives me stress. Only the biggest movie ever is coming out Dec. 12th, Twilight. What's a girl to do?!?!

We, rather I, decided we're not going to find out what it is. It took Chris a while but he's finally come around. It only adds to the excitement for us. I have to say that the grandmas are a little irritated with the idea of waiting. My mother insists on making 2 quilts instead of waiting. They're lucky to be the first we call! Besides, it doesn't matter anyways, we'll love it just the same, boy or girl!

Gotta love Dr. Huish! I wish I could take a couple weeks off my pregnancy. I'm still so excited for you guys and I can't wait to see your little baby bump (are you showing yet?)

Don't worry Heidi, if you are in the hospital when Twilight comes out, I'm gonna find a way to smuggle you out of there. Chris can stay with the baby for a few hours, right?

Call and I were talking today about how rediculously cute Tatum and Tucker are, I can't wait for a third! We will figure something out for Twilight, its only going to be the largest girls night of the century!

You are s awesome not to find out. If is for sure the way to go. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Dr. Huish is great to induce you early. He usually isn't so willing. So pray the hospital is not full on Wednesday the 10th, get in early and you should be released Friday morning. Movie??? Friday night.

Movie Shmovie...your milk will be coming in...you'll have some kind of an infection and the only thing that will matter is SLEEP! You'll stand in line just to fall miserably asleep and miss the whole thing. The people who love you most would never force a movie on you when you are so vulnerable...oh heheheee! Now go have a piece of blueberry pie and think about having Doc Huish call me! As for not knowing what you're having...I swear...I gots to know!

Heidi, I love you! We didn't know if Lydia was gonna be a boy or girl and it was so much fun to have two names and try to guess the whole pregnancy! I think I'll feel the same way with my 3rd. Your little boogers are gonna love this little baby!

Yay! I can't believe you're not going to find out! That's cool...I couldn't do it though. I would HAVE to know because I'm such a planner. I would have to make 2 quilts too. So, just so you don't feel too bad, Tyler DID punch Luke in the face the day we brought him home from the hospital!

You are a strong woman to not find out! It makes me physically sick knowing that someone (the doc) knows and I don't!

Congrats and I hope the rest of the preg goes as easy as the beginning!

So I think your crazy for not finding out, you know that. I could never not find out. That is why I did find out with my third. Plan on being in the hospital at the same time, that would be so fun. I forgot about Twilight, we are going to figure something out. I have to see it. I still think it's a boy, but watch I'll be wrong. Anyways, congrats my dear, I am so excited for you. You are such a great mom. Three will be a piece of cake for you.

I am thrilled for you, Heidi!!

Hey, make sure everywhere you go you repeat that you don't want to know! With all three of ours we decided we didn't want to know. With all three, it slipped out of a nurse, doctor, technician... Urgh. So, the first thing you say when you walk in every office must be, "DON'T TELL ME THE SEX!!"
