On the Home Front

Here's our tree this year, a cute 4 ft. entry tree on one of our side tables covered with a Christmas blanket. Usually we go buy a real tree all together and then I spend way to long putting on the lights and rearranging the ornaments. This year I don't have the time or energy so we made do with what we had. Tucker insisted on wearing his undies, I'm picking my fights!

Ta-dah! We think it's mighty cute!

I walked into my bedroom the other day to find this, the blondies pumping. It was only fair they both get a turn! They thought they were pretty funny, so did I!

So cute Heidi. I love the little tree and I think it is perfect considering what you have to deal with right now. Boy do I remember walking in to see my girls pumping. They got such a kick out of it and would cry if I didn't let them watch me up. Unfortunately Eden did not get to take most of my milk, but I did give it to Bela after Eden passed and that made my heart so happy.

I am so happy to hear of Jersey's progress. I know it' s hard when they do not progress as fast as you would like, but I truly know that the Lord has a hand in everything. This is a difficult thing you and your family have been asked to endure, but you will be better people when it is over.

I think of you and pray for your little sweetie every day. You are doing the right thing in spending time with your older ones. Jersey is where she needs to be right now so she can be taken care of and heal. She will be healthy before you know it!

Love, Keisa

It looks perfect in the corner, and the blondies don't know the difference. They will remember that you guys set it up as a family, AND decorated it as a family. That is what is important. The pumping pictures?/? Priceless. Today, we pray for a little progress.

Your tree is darling and I think it wise to simplify, it means the same no matter how much stuff you throw up there. (Love your wall BTW). And the kids pumping...hilarious.

I'm so glad you got a Christmas tree up. No home is complete without one this time of year. It does something for the soul, doesn't it? Yea for Jersey and her continued progress! Bring the kids over anytime this week, K? We'll be around anytime you need!

Oh that is so cute! I love your tree!!! I especially love the pumping pictures! I remember when my little guy used to walk around in his undies-- now he would die if I saw him in his undies! The way they change. :(
Oh & love your wall-- sweet!
