Sweet, Sweet Children of Mine

There's nothing like being pregnant and not feeling attractive. I'm not complaining, pregnancy is temporary, it doesn't last forever. Chris does an ok job of making me feel...not ugly/fat/unattractive, you get the idea. But there's something like a child's honesty. I know my blondies love me so when Tatum pokes at my love handles and says, "Mom your skin is squishy," I can smile back. Or when I'm pushing Tucker in a grocery cart and he looks down and says, "Mom, your legs are fat," I can ruffle his hair and pretend he didn't say what he just said. Or when I put on one of my 2 church outfits and Tatum says, "Why do you always wear that dress?". Or when I'm dressing this morning and Tuck says, " Your back is getting fat," I can grit my teeth and try not to oink back. Aren't they sweet?

Whatever, you looked so cute today and I didn't even get to say hi to you or thank you for the invite. We will have to do it another night. Hope you are feeling good.

Oh wonderful children. Want me to come over and show them fat legs and squishy skin? You always look amazing and I am excited to see you in all your pregnancy glory next month. Where we will be eating butter and sugar...

Nothing-NOTHING is more beautiful than a woman sacrificing her vanity and her waistline to bring a baby into the world! I think you look lovely and are beautiful... (and I'm NOT saying that because I'm your mom and I'm supposed to...I'm saying it because I mean it!) FYI...I'm still trying to lose those last few pounds from having Callie...hehehe

Good thing everyone at church was saying you don't even look pregnant from the back. Heck, you barely look pregnant from the front. Your kids are a hoot!

Out of the mouth of babes eh? My kids say all those things to me NOW and I haven't been pregnant for 15 years!

Don't you let what TnT have to say bother you one iota, you look great.

That is hilarious! I get about the same thing. Not just from my kids though. I had a little boy come up to me the other day and ask what was in my stomach. When I told him, he looked longingly at my belly for like a minute and then he poked it and ran away. Nice. I think you are so cute and beautiful! I am dialated to a 2! Are you making any progress yet?

I'm sorry! If it makes you feel better, when T&T were visiting in Ut when I was prego I heard some of those comments as well! Gotta love how honest kids are?! Or maybe you don't :) All I know is that you weighed the same amount 6 months pregnant, as I do normally! Don't stress :)
